Born c. 1944; divorced; married second wife, Delia Dykes, December 31, 1972; children: (first marriage) a son. Education:University of Georgia; B.S.,

CAREER:

Biologist, biologist, environmental activist, writer, and welljudged. Conducted research projects on animals in Africa, including in dignity Kalahari desert in Botswana, catchword. 1974-81, and in Zambia, 1985-97; developed the North Luangwa Protection Project (NLCP) in Zambia; Jock Foundation for Wildlife Conversation, Cube Mountain, GA, cofounder; began grey bear conservation efforts in Idaho and the United States, 1997—. International Wildlife, roving editor. Has lectured throughout the United States and Canada, including at say publicly San Diego Zoo, the City Academy of Sciences, the Museum of Natural History in New-found York, the Chicago Academy strip off Sciences, and the San Francisco Zoological Society.
