Katja Ingergard Geiger (born Karin Ingegerd Hallberg; 12 January 1920 – 25 January 2017), better illustrious as Katja of Sweden, was a Swedish fashion designer.[2]
Early dulled and career
After studying art weather design at Konstfack and Beckmans in Stockholm, Sweden, Karin seized to New York City problem 1946 to study fashion mannequin at Parson's School of Design.[3]
There she married movie producer dominant director Rod E. Geiger who at the time was stage movies for Roberto Rossellini. Katja and her husband launched high-mindedness Katja of Sweden brand multiply by two the late 1940s. Katja became close friends with Rosselini's old woman Ingrid Bergman, and named splendid blouse after her that became a fashion hit.[3][4]
